A homegoing for me

I had a chance last week to pay a return visit to M-I's Corporate HQ where the Training Department is located. My old boss, Frank Boykin is still looking after things there, and needed some help to get some of his young engineers trained. I jumped at the chance and put it on my already fairly crowded teaching calendar.

A fond memory

I have traveled many places in the course of my oilfield career. One of my more interesting stops was the result of an invitation by ONGC to conduct a formation damage prevention course at their Drilling Academy in Dehradun, near the foothills of the Himalayas. Not being much of an adventurer, if I am honest, it was a tremendous thrill for me to be anywhere near the Himalayas. And, of course, I was honored to receive this invitation to teach at this prestigious learning center. Here is a photo I cherish of the course delegates.
